Murder In Pretoria; The Trial Resumes

Oscar worried

The trial in Pretoria, South Africa is about to resume.  In the past several weeks Oscar Pistorius has been a guest of the court in a secluded place where he could be observed, tested and evaluated relative to his mental state.  The prosecutor felt that Oscar was faking his overly tearful presence in the court room as a means of gathering sympathy and winning an acquittal.  Last year in the U.S. a young mother appeared to tell lie after lie as her defense, leading to an acquittal because a case couldn’t be proven on ‘facts’ that were lies.

We will review Oscar’s t/Moon-opposite-n/Sun Return for June 24, 2014.

The above Return chart has t/Moon in the 8th opposing n/Sun in the 2nd, offering us a theme (taken in part from my in-preparation book) of, “Management of resources . . .   Accounting for past practices.  Changes in (family) plans, emotional issues.  A personal transition and/or crises at hand.  . . . . A need for reconciliation.”

We have to keep in mind that this Return chart coincides with the completion of his evaluation, the writing of a report for the court on his capability to deal with the trial on an emotional basis and a mental/memory basis, and the pressure of the resuming-trial this coming week.  With all of this the above “theme” statement associated with the t/Moon and n/Sun house positions seems quite valid.

In this chart we note t/N.Node at the Ascendant; Pistorius will directly encounter other people up close and personal, as they say.  t/Mars conjoins n/PoF; Pistorius’ presence and confidence will be easily jarred, he (and his lawyers) will work extra hard to prepare him for the resuming pressures of the trial.  After the intense probing and tests he has been through, Pistorius may be difficult for his lawyers to coach.  t/PoF squares t/Mercury; words may just pop out of his mouth, or, words of others may prove to be very upsetting.

t/Jupiter is near the MC; this will become more “exact” or angular in coming days, bring a sense of confidence and a better outlook at we move intro this second part of the trial.  We need to also consider t/Venus conjoining the t/Moon as it opposes n/Sun.  Venus should imply a more balanced and composed Pistorius — perhaps the crying sessions will be mostly absent in the future.

Tomorrow or Tuesday I will look at the charts for July 2nd through the 4th, an intense period seems to be in store on those days in the court room.  Dave

Now He Has Really Gone and Done It

Boehner Photo-4

John Boehner, Speaker of the House of Representatives, U.S. Congress has today announced that he is bringing a lawsuit against the President of the U.S. for breaking the law.  This is the first time that this action has been announced or initiated.  President Obama has done what George Bush did with the Iraq war, Obama has extended his powers in the face of a congress that refuses to do anything on domestic issues.  The press reports that this appears to be a ploy to win support from the more right-wing “Tea Party” Republicans so as to keep the highly fractured party together.

Several weeks ago I rectified Boehner’s chart based on an interview he gave, stating about his family and his childhood, “I was always the dark one.  I don’t indulge in tanning beds or skin coloring, I’m just darker than the others in my family.”  (This is as I remember what he said).  It occurred to me that Saturn was likely on his Ascendant, a common placement for those who seem dark and dour.  In any case, I have used that chart as a basis for using Moon-to-Sun Returns to explore his lawsuit announcement.

BoehnerJohnBoehnerMoppS6-25-2014

This is a t/Moon-opposite-n/Sun, along the IC-MC axis (4th to 10th house); having a theme of, “Difficulty with plans relating to . . . jointly held resources.  Public image is affected by stated plans.  . . . Private anxiety and public life clash.  A renewal of something essential to one’s well-being.  Doing the unexpected.”  Throwing the Tea Party wing of the Republican Party some red meat to chew on, and to insulate himself from criticism about not being conservative enough is thought to be behind this political maneuver.  t/PoF opposes t/Sun (across sign-lines, but within orb of its daily motion);  Taking chances to contest another’s control or interests.  This same t/PoF also squares his n/Asc. and opposes t/Mercury; His actions pose a risk for his own political stance and the words that define his thoughts.  He will have to live with the results of these statements, and so will his party.  t/Pluto conjoining n/Venus, 12th, can be seen as an upheaval in his values for secret/behind-the-scenes reasons.

Let us look at the advanced chart for today’s announcement, June 25, 2014.

BoehnerJohnBoehnerAdv6-25-2014

Advanced to today, June 25, 2014, this chart’s MC is moving onward from the n/Sun, indicating that the conversation and issues will need to be widely spread and talked about (note nearby n/Mercury).  The IC is approaching t/Venus; in the coming days basic values of what has been started will be examined, the desires behind them speculated upon. (The IC will chase t/Venus).  t/Moon conjoins Boehner’s n/MC angle, the public will respond to this issue, but how?  It is interesting to note t/PoF contacting the opposing n/Jupiter and t/Jupiter in the 12th-6th house axis.  This strongly suggests a contest between what Boehner wants for himself and for his political allies.  He has to make a choice, he won’t be able to stay on the fence.  Yet, t/Sun conjoining n/Uranus is a feel-good-today type of pattern.  He will enjoy being a rebel, but the Sun always moves on and contacts something else — in this case, t/Sun will oppose t/Pluto-n/Venus in another week or so.  We can look forward to some major shifts in this abruptly announced plan to sue the President for unlawful acts.  Dave

Bergdahl’s Release: A Simple Act, A Complex Situation

Bowe photo-2

At the end of May, 2014 an American soldier, Bowe Bergdahl, was released after several years capacity.  The event occurred in harsh, open, rolling land in near Yahya Kheyl, Patick Province, Afganistan — 068E41, 32N56.  We have no given birth time for Bowe Bergdahl so a noon chart will be used.  Noon charts for Moon-to-Sun Returns are highly useful, more-so than when used with other charts!  The ratio of motion for the Moon to the Sun is 13:1.  A noon chart puts us within half-a-degree of the Sun’s birth position.  The moon covers a 1/2 degree of arc-space in one hour.  One hour equates to 15 degrees of MC movement.  Ergo, our Moon-to-Sun Return (noon-based) is accurate within 15 degrees, most likely within 8 degrees.  You can read such a chart with much confidence.

May 24, 2014 at 10:56:46 AM in Afganistan marks the t/Moon-to-n/Sun Return chart (8th house position).

BergdahlBoweBoweMtoS5-24-2014CORRECT

This chart, and especially the event-date chart, are complex.  The situation was simple; an exchange of prisoners.  The situation was not simple, actually.  First, t/Moon-to-n/Sun in the 8th house has a theme;  “The flow or management of . . . interests. Being closely involved in the lives and interests of others.  Investigation and making decisions on behalf of others. Critical decision on behalf of the public.  A shared endeavor or project.”  The negotiations which led to this exchange were conducted by Qatar, acting as an intermediary to sort out the demands and conditions of each side.  The President of the United States had to act in order to same this one soldier held captive. The theme’s conditions are evident.

t/Moon-to-n/Sun is opposed by t/Mars; Values of each side have to be argued out in order for Bergdahl to have a chance in re-balancing his life.  The basis of the conditions were both idealistic and sensitive (t/Mars square n/Neptune).  Bergdahl’s self-interests, (t/Sun) squares t/Neptune; This double-ups the Neptune, highlighting the confusion, the drama, the ideas that each side had.  Our always-dependable t/PoF opposes n/Mars; Others argue against your interests and yourself.  Now, Mars is a doubled-up planet.  t/Sun approaches its square to t/Neptune — making Neptune a Tripled-up planet.  Finally, t/Saturn opposes the MC; a strategy or plan is required to bring the situation to a new starting point.

So, the patterns define the situation that is about to develop.  Our next chart is for the day of Bergdahl’s release.

BergdahlBoweBoweAdv5-31-2014

This chart for Bergdahl’s release in quite complex.  t/Sun opposes n/Saturn in the 4th and squares t/Neptune.  (I have a similar pattern nataly)  This pattern can be a “bridge between realtity and un-reality — captivity and freedom.  t/PoF conjoins n/MC, squares n/Mars; His personal goals are about to change, but achieving that change will be a challenge.  (There is extensive controversy over the manner of his being captured off-base and his dissatisfaction with government policies and the Army’s role in Afghanistan).  t/Mars still opposes n/Sun, squares t/Moon, squares n/Neptune; What a tangle of twine this is.  Mars-Sun-Moon-Neptune suggests a highly challenging moment when identity and feelings are both intense and confused. This is/was the case, as it takes several weeks to integrate prisoners back into their military and social life after years of captivity.

These charts are worth some study if one digs into the on-going story of Bowe Bergdahl and the behind the scenes efforts to achieve his release.  Every aspect of the overall story can be found in the chart’s symbols.

What Do You Mean by Missing — Gone or Gotten?

Bowe photo-1

We have all seen this photo in the past several days — Soldier Bowe Bergdahl.  His birth date can be found, March 28, 1986, his birth place was Sun Valley, Idaho.  No time is available.  Bowe went missing on June 30, 2009 deep in the heart of Afghanistan near the town of Yayha Kheyl, 068E3845, 32N5613.  All of this data can be found on the Internet.  When I have un-timed charts my choice is to use the t/Moon-to-n/Sun Return and Daily charts.  These use a “noon” birth time.  However, the ratio of the Moon’s daily rate of advance to the slower Sun’s daily rate of advance (a 13:1 ratio) yields a Return MC that is within several degrees of accuracy.  If the Sun is within a half-degree of the actual birth position — for a Noon birth — the transiting Moon will cover that half-degree arc in one hour of time.  The MC can only move plus/minus 7.5 degrees in that time.  Accordingly these Moon-to-Sun Returns can be quite useful.

The chart below is cast for June 29, 2009 and is a t/Moon-opposite-n/Sun Return from the 10th to the 4th house.  The Theme for this Return and house positions (using my notes) in part is:  One’s . . . personal values are open for assessment . . . Support (for those values) relates from another . . . close to you.  (There is a) conflict in resources or efforts to resolve (these values).  How to balance public and private lives.  Life changes in fundamental terms.  This theme is built upon the oppositional pattern between the Moon in the 10th (wanting acknowledgement for what one feels strongly about) and Sun in the 4th (holding strong to one’s principles).  It is reported the Bergdahl was conflicted over the way the Army was being used and the statements and claims that were used to describe the ineffective practices being undertaken.  He was identifying with the people of Afganistan by projecting his beliefs and values upon them.

BergdahlBoweBoweMoppS6-29-2009

t/Sun squares t/Moon and n/Sun.  This neatly sums up the strong conflicts within him, and illustrates the pull between his mission and his intent to stick to his own inner conscience.  (This is not good for a soldier, but it is reasonable for an ethical person).  t/PoF squares the Return Ascendant (I will not use the natal angles because they are a bit “fuzzy”); What Bergdahl will do is highly risky.  t/Saturn conjoins the MC and opposes n/Mercury; His strategy to protest what he sees as not being right has to deal with the long-held thoughts of what his duty and responsibilities are.

The day Bergdahl decided to act on his thoughts came one day after the Return chart, on June 30, 2009.  The Advanced or Daily chart is shown below.

BergdahlBoweBoweAdv6-30-2009

In this chart (above) t/Saturn is precisely on the MC angle; His strategy will be the goal that he carries out.  t/PoF is precisely on the IC angle; This strategy is very risky. Other timing factors in these Return and Daily charts (other than angles being contacted and the Part of Fortune) are the t/Moon and t/Sun.  t/Sun still squares n/Sun as in the Return chart of the previous day.  t/Moon opposes n/Venus; There is a strong emotional tug over what Bergdahl sees as his values.  The combination of believing that the war is poorly conducted and is being presented to the world as something it isn’t, and his identification with the Afgan people has resulted in his values being contorted in terms of how he assesses them.  So, he left his unit, took a walk, and found himself in a “reality check.”  A captured soldier is a captured soldier.  Who cares what thoughts are in his head.

In my next post I’ll look at his release date.  Dave.

Lunar Returns — Part 3, Three Differing Views

Dave 5-2104

I used to swear by Lunar Returns — decades ago. Then, other things occupied my attention and other charting methodologies came into my life.  Now I have less regard for Lunar Returns.  The t/Moon-to-n/Moon Return turns our focus to “feelings about change.”

I have found that “feelings about change” is not sufficient for me these days.  I’m looking for a “portrayal of everyday life.”  So, in this post I’ll look at our series of posting on Lunar Returns and the date of June 11, 2014.  On this day I had made an appointment with the VA (Veterans Administration) to have my sight and hearing checked.  Some surprises emerged.  I’ll present three charts for this date for comparison.

MonroeDavidDaveLRadv6-11-2014A

The above chart is diurnally advanced from the June 4, 2014 Lunar Return chart.  What are we looking for terms of sight and sound.  Rex Bills book on Rulerships offers: Uranus for hearing aids, Saturn and Mercury for Hearing Sense, Saturn for Hearing organs, Mercury (Moon, Sun, Aquarius) for sense of sight, Aries-first-house-Sun for eyes in general, left eye equates to Moon, eyesight in general to Mercury.

n/Mars is near the MC.  n/Uranus is near the Desc.  t/Pof is near the S.Node.  Not much symbolism about sight and sound found with these planets, but t/Moon squares n/Moon, opposing t/Neptune — this is highly appropriate for a clouded lens which will be replaced this summer. These three planets are in angular houses but not near the angles.  t/Mercury at the Desc. angle and inconjunct t/Moon might be seen as represent the steps of diagnosis and planning of the skills and procedures needed to restore full sight in my eye.  All in all, this chart doesn’t seem to tell me a clear story.

This chart is the June 4th Lunar Return progressed according to the Robert Nicewander method.  Please not the following partial replication of a RIYAL screen showing the progression data for dates between successive Lunar Returns.

11 Jun 2014    16h    6Vi03     13Sa16    29Aq23    253.02

The dates between successive Lunar Returns are divided into two-hour increments, amounting to about one degree of Moon movement.  On can use the date to create a chart, then rotate that chart to get the desired angles.  Or one can convert the RMAC to ST and create a chart within RIYAL using the comparison feature (menu choice) for the natal chart and above chart data.  I choose the 12 hour point as that was about the time of the eye diagnosis.

My n/Saturn, n/Neptune are on the vertical axis.  t/Sun squares the n/Neptune-n/Sun midpoint — a pattern that I could accept as indicating a problem with the clouding of a eye’s lens.  t/Mercury at the n/Asc., sextile n/Moon involves the Moon-Mercury symbolism note earlier, but this is not something that I would “see” in this chart and say, “Oh, an eye problem.”

Now, we’ll look at a Moon-to-Sun Return chart, advanced to this date.

MonroeDavidDaveAdv6-11-2014correct

The above chart is a precession-corrected t/Moon-to-n/Sun Return chart that has been advanced to June 11, 2014.  We immediately note that this chart is similar to the Nicewander progressed Lunar Return in that n/Sun, n/Neptune are at the IC angle, n/Saturn at the MC, and t/Mercury at n/Asc.  t/Pluto is closer to the Desc. angle in this chart.

t/PoF activates the natal T-square; Sun/Neptune opp. Saturn square Jupiter.  The Part of Fortune is a featured part of Moon-to-Sun Returns, and it signifies “change and chance” in the chart.  As the driving pattern of the chart, this signifies decision making.  Note that t/Sun enters into this T-square, and forms the Sun-square-Sun pattern noted earlier — located in the institutional twelfth house (the VA Hospital where the tests were conducted). Now, this was true in the Nicewander Progressed chart as well but was not noticed because of my not using the PoF in those other charts.  So, one has to decide how that plays into the interpretation: Do the tools we use shape the meaning of the chart or merely reveal what we didn’t see.? Do we need to now compensate for our shortcoming in skills by using helpful tools?

Obviously a trio of charts does not convince us to go one way or another in our chart usage or charting types.  I’ll have to compare the Nicewander progression method with p.c. Moon-to-Sun Returns for other chart-events to explore further how they work.  Your comments on this post are welcome.  Dave

Continuing; Exploring Lunar Returns — part 2

IMG_4870

Pictured here is Jan and I at the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, PA a few weeks ago.  In this posting I will be advancing the previous Lunar Return for June 4, 2014 to reflect the chart & events for each specific date.

This is done by creating derived charts for following days using the same “chart time” used by the Lunar Return chart.  This advances the MC and Ascendant by about a degree and also re-positions the transiting planets for that date. What is often overlooked in these Return/Advanced charts is that the chart houses do not reflect the natal chart houses.  The natal houses and planets are positioned differently, now having to express themselves through the Return/Advanced chart’s houses.  This reflects the ever-changing nature of our daily lives.  Let us look at June 5th, the day following my June 4th Lunar Return:

MonroeDavidDaveLRadv6-05-2014

This partial chart illustrates the meaningful t/Moon contacting n/Neptune.  On this day I was doing volunteer work for the town’s Health Department, scanning large plans of septic systems and all of the small supporting documentation so that on-screen electronic images could be retrieved in lieu of trying to recover paper files for storage.  On this date the scanning equipment gave me many problems; refusing to scan any paper, then producing dark images and stretched out images, then intermittently working and not-working.  This process proved to be un-productive and lost time from my currently busy schedule.  The scanner, as I see it, is represented by Neptune and the resulting images.  The Moon represents the fast changing reactions by myself to the on-going problems of getting this equipment to function.

The advanced chart for June 9th is shown below.

MonroeDavidDaveLRadv6-09-2014

This advanced chart utilizes the same chart time as the Lunar Return of June 4th.  Note that t/Moon is at, and will contact, the Ascendant angle.  n/Uranus is on the 7th house cusp, the Descendant.  t/Moon indicates that I will very personally be interacting with another.  n/Uranus can denote an astrological reading — which is just what was being done that evening for a somewhat skeptical (at first) client.  We should take note of t/Part of Fortune in the 5th.  PoF represents “chance and change” situations and outcomes — would the multiple chart readings for various events in this woman’s life bring her to an acceptance of astrology’s usefulness?  Of course it did.

We might choose to note that t/Sun squares n/Sun-n/Neptune midpoint, and that the n/Ascendant is being closely approached by a retrograding Mercury.  This Mercury reflects the slow build-up and care taken to substantiate the practice of astrology before moving on the future issues.

Following posts will reflect other daily events.  Later on I will utilize the “Nicewander” method of Lunar Return Progressions/Daily charting to see how it compares to this very basic method.  Dave

Exploring Lunar Return Chart-Interpretation

Dave-1

On other forums and sites there has been interest expressed in how different Return charts work and when one should be chosen over another.  I have addressed this by adding an introductory essay to the menu of this site and by launching this posting of my June 4, 2014 Lunar Return.  I will use my personal life to reflect one approach to using Lunar Returns. There is no way to tell now, except by doing the charts ahead of time, what will transpire this month, but I will try to be forthright about the events — as unimportant and mundane as many of them are likely to be.  The chart below is cast using Kepler software, it is a conventional Tropical chart, no precession-correction applied.  I will explain the basic interpretive approach (without any refinements) and let others embellish the chart’s interpretations as they wish.

MonroeDavidDaveLR6-04-2014

There are two phases to using Lunar Returns; the first is the actual Lunar Return chart itself and it’s interpretation.  The second phase is the progressing or advancing of the Lunar Return on a day-by-day basis, creating derived Daily charts for the following lunar period.  I will note the basic steps in interpreting this Lunar Return.

First, note the house position of the t/Moon-n/Moon:  Here, the 10th house is involved.  My reactive-emotional nature for this month will focus on my career interests (since I’m retired this will mean my hobbies, interests, projects which reflect my personal status and standing).  On this date I edited and posted my Essay on Returns and Cyclic charts.  I also e-mailed the first chapter of my up-coming book to an astrological friend for her review and comments.  Moon-Moon opposes t/Neptune, n/MC; my vision or ideal situation (regarding the book, in this cases) will be unsettled and affect my goals and plans.  I have been planning on taking a ‘narrative’ approach to writing my book, and have been studying writing methods which can be applied.  Apparently my efforts along this line will be subject to some confusion.  The MC ruler is Leo, my 3rd house sign which has long correlated with writing and expressional projects — this can clearly relate to my book-project.  The Sun conjoins n/Part of Fortune, suggesting some form of upset or change.

Second, note the Ascendant and any planets there or aspect to planets:  In this chart t/Venus, n/Uranus is on the Descendant; What I value, or my sense of value, will be affected somewhat dramatically by others.  I will wait for a future day to see (say) how this worked out.  The Ascendant ruler is Scorpio, my fifth house sign, and indicator of creative things, again indicative of my focus on my book project.  t/Pluto squares t/Mars and my n/Venus, n/Mercury (n/Mars in my 3rd house, n/Venus-n/Mercury in the fifth house — all related to creative expression) indicating the intensity of my writing challenge to me.

All of this sets up a THEME for the lunar month ahead.  In my next posts I will explore how this fits into my experiences for the month.

New Essay On Cyclic Charts

A new essay introducing Cyclic Charts has been posted in the essay menu section.  Over time I hope to introduce a series of essays specific to each type of Cyclic-Return chart.  Return charts can be defined as a chart of the moment when two specific astrological bodies or bodies and points come into conjunction or opposition.  Cyclic charting is a term I use to denote the combination of Return and derived Daily charts that come from the Return chart — in all, these charts present a moving, developing picture of what life is becoming as expressed through the chart’s reflection of how we live our symbols.  I hope my readers enjoy this information.  Let me know what you think.  Dave

A New Twist on Diurnal Charts

IMG_4870

Walking down steps isn’t always easy!  You might think that after 77 years I’d have learned to walk down steps.  Apparently not. On May 13th, after teaching an afternoon Chess class to 2nd and 3rd grade students I took a tumble.  Grabbing the railing, I still managed to fall and give myself a bruising of the upper left leg muscles.  Severe pain at first.  It took several minutes before I could stand up with help.  Two weeks later I took a tour with my travel club to Amish Country in Lancaster, PA.  The picture shown here is myself and my wife, Jan, at the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia.   An astrological friend asked me to look at my Diurnal chart.  Here is what I came up with.

DiurnalDiurnal-Adv5-13-2014fallA

Diurnal charts can be cast for any day of the year and use the natal-birth time.  This has the effect of advancing the MC by about one degree per day.  With Diurnal charts, any given date within the year will have the same MC as that date in any other year.  Diurnal charts are your very own personal annual cycle chart — keyed to your birth date & time.  For May 13th, relative to a Sept. 13th birth date, my MC had progressed from 5 Pisces to 8 Scorpio.  The chart above is significant.

  • t/Pluto is on the Ascendant; perhaps we can see this as bad things happening to good people.  Actually in everyday life, Pluto typically reflects plans gone awry, events that disrupt one’s regular activity, a transformative spa treatment or body cleansing.  The angular placement should alert us.  n/Pluto is in the 7th, squaring the t/nodal axis;  this quirky aspect can suggest problems due to other people (I was watching a group playing basketball near my automobile and not paying attention to walking down the steps.
  • n/Uranus on the IC, opposite t/Moon on the MC; risk taking, fluctuating interests and changing moods can combine for surprises that affect on status in life.  If we play astrological hopscotch, we find t/Uranus-Venus in the 3rd house; this can clue us into what area of life an event might occur (house of travel, physical movement, communication)
  • t/Sun square n/Mars;  One acts in haste, with conflicting attentions, with less control.  t/Sun also opposes t/Saturn, a natal pattern.  n/Sun conjoins n/Neptune, opposes n/Saturn; a fluctuation in play between reality and daydreams.
  • t/Moon near the MC;  I’m not sure if this is close enough to be “in play”.
  • We have to look at Mars.  t/Mars is in the 9th (places of learning), conjoining t/Venus-Mercury and opposing t/Venus.

My dear friend of some 44 years points out an eclipse of last April at 8 Taurus, at my IC angle, my progressed Mars at 9 Scorpio and my MC angle, and mentioned something about my part of accidents being at 10 Aries, opposite t/Mars.  She is into details, something that I never see.  She said, in so many words, “How could you not see this day as being a dangerous day?”  Since I seldom look at charts for myself, all I could do was to make a silly excuse.

Then, to really rub in my lack of attention to detail, she said, “Why don’t you progress the diurnal MC to the time of your accident?”  Now, this was very intriguing.  Taking the time difference between the accident, about 4:15 PM, and my birth time which governs the diurnal chart, 11:42 PM, I subtracted 7 hours and 25 minutes, yielding a chart time of 4h 17m.  Close enough.  And what did I see?

DiurnalDiurnal-Adv5-13-2014fall

  •  t/Mars on adjusted Asc.;  Hasty action, hurtfull results.  n/Mars squares t/Sun.  My health and vitality can be compromised.
  • t/Pluto on the IC angle;  sudden changes, compromises, disruption.  Combined with t/Mars being angular, this is not good at all.
  • t/Jupiter on the MC;  this is likely my protector from more-serious harm such as a broken leg.  That would have ruined my planned trip two weeks later.
  • t/Venus-Urnaus at the Desc. angle, along with my part of accidents.
  • If I borrow my technique of the CD (Co-Descendant) from my Solar Returns and derived daily charts, I take the Asc.-MC arc angle of 88 degrees and apply it to the MC to get a CD point of 15 Aries, conjoining t/Uranus; sudden situations will enter my life.

This is a very telling chart.  I normally do not do charts for myself.  My focus on cyclic astrology is such that I look at a daily chart and make my assessments from that chart alone.  It had not occurred to me to take a “daily” chart which showed a dangerous situation and to rotate it so as to be able to see when the danger-points could be fully activated by angular positions.

This is a “twist” to using Diurnal charts that I had not been familiar with.  Perhaps any of my readers who have worked with charts in this manner will comment and share their views and experiences.  Dave
